OUR BUSINESS

sustainable urban revitalization
through human-centered
real estate development
and management

Sustainability for us means controlling negative externalities such as displacement and cultural homogenization, and we look for ways to create positive social change in the areas we work.

Value Chain Conservatorio S.A.

We are a real estate development company that seeks sustainable profits for our investors and positive social impacts for our community. We build residential, retail, office and hotels. Because we believe diversity is important for healthy communities we build from extremely high-end all the way to affordable.

We tend to retain and manage our commercial properties because of their recurring cash flows and heavy influence on the character of the district.

We have our own in-house brokerage, Arco Properties, as well as internal hotel management and maintenance capabilities.

Our core competencies are analysis and acquisition, conceptualization and development, sales and property operations. Supporting these core functions are Accounting, Finance and Administration, IT and Community Development. We also invest in Research & Development because our model requires us to constantly innovate.

Our key raw material is under-appreciated urban areas with potential because of their walkability, human scale, central location and character. Our business requires us to improve quality of life and return vibrancy to these areas, so we take a holistic approach that blends real estate development with urban planning and social, economic and cultural development.

Our Business Conservatorio SA

Our key raw material is under-appreciated urban areas with potential because of their walkability, human scale, central location and character. Our business requires us to improve quality of life and return vibrancy to these areas, so we take a holistic approach that blends real estate development with urban planning and social, economic and cultural development.

Our capacity to achieve this depends on our ability to do these five things in a complex and deteriorated environment:

  1. Assemble fragmented properties into larger parcels or coherent parcel clusters;
  2. Conceptualize and market dynamic urban lifestyle projects;
  3. Efficiently permit and manage construction;
  4. Earn the confidence of clients, government entities and the surrounding community; and
  5. Curate synergistic tenant mixes and actively manage our retail clusters.
